1. Eat more vegetables and fruits.
2. Go to bed before midnight on school nights.
3. Don’t go to bed before midnight on weekends....
4. Bear my testimony in sacrament meeting (this is gonna be really hard, because seriously as soon as the bishop opens it up for testimonies, AT LEAST ten people get up, and from then on, this huge line begins to fill the seats on the stand for the rest of the meeting. kinda crazy.)
5. Exercise more. All I've really been doing for exercise is my walking to and from campus, biking to the grocery store or to bridget's house, and my two hour volleyball class once a week. And I'm becoming a big fat fatty.
6. Play a piano at least once a week. Today, I subbed for the organist in sacrament meeting, and I was really taken back at how at home I felt, at how much I loved to play. I never thought I loved it. I enjoyed it, and I was glad for my calling as organist at home. I loved the piano, and I also played the organ. But nope, I love the organ too. I love it! But don't worry, I still love the piano more.
7. Do my scripture reading at a desk and not right before bed. Our ward is reading the Book of Mormon together this year, and so we have assigned readings every night that I need to keep up on. So far I've done pretty good. But I think I could make it even more effective if I treated it kind of like homework -- if I even read scriptures in the library more or something.
8. Make a nice meal. I'm still struggling with this. Mostly I eat sandwiches and cereal.
9. Go to the temple at least three times this month. Because the temple is the house of God!
10. Learn more about the accordion. A while ago, I played my friend Ben's accordion. And I am in love. With the accordion, not Ben. Which is actually surprising because ever since "Whatever It Takes" I've always wanted to love a man who played the accordion. SO attractive. wow. But anyway, I love the accordion. I've wanted to learn for quite a while. And I think I'll be able to learn more just on the internet and stuff, and maybe I'll borrow Ben's accordion. I think it would be an awesome talent to have. What on earth could be better than a portable organ!?

love, love, love it!
Jodi and I grew up doing the polka together at wedding dances! (that is what I think of when I think of the accordion - Beer Barrel Polka! - in case you were wondering the connection) And to think I'd almost sealed a deal to get an accordion for you for Christmas last year.
I think those are all noble goals - YOU GO FIT IT, GIRL! (lololamelolo)
That is quite an ambitious set of goals! You are going to make the rest of us look bad, or maybe that is just guilty because I know that I could benefit from a few of those goals. I have to agree with your mom about the Polka, that was the first thing I thought of when you said accordian. Good luck with your goals.
Ps I am still waiting for the day 20 post ;-)
wow you're right - you are getting to be quite the big fat fatty! crazy girl, i think you're nuts. ambitious and talented and funny and pretty and wonderful, but nuts.
my goal for the month: birth a healthy baby. then bring him home and talk cooper into being okay with keeping him. that's about it. wish us luck! and good luck to you toots! sounds like it'll be a good month :)
looooooove you pretty girl.
Amelia! Would this be Ben Christenson? Not many accordian players running around BYU named Ben...
You could always bike to my house more often! :)
