You know, rejection really isn't that bad. I mean, SURE, you might've been constantly debating the pros and cons up to 3 weeks prior to the big shut down. And SURE, you might've spent days worrying about how you're going to phrase the big question. And YA, FINE, you might've gotten a new outfit to build your confidence going into it. And OKAY, OKAY, you were positive his response would be nothing less than a confession of his being too nervous to ask you all along....
But who cares, right? There are worse things, right? I can handle a little rejection once in a while...
